Your wedding. Your way.
Your wedding should be whatever you want it to be. Whether you want heartfelt, funny, traditional, completely nontraditional, or just enough ceremony to make the whole thing official, we’ll create something that feels right for the two of you.

There is no “right” kind of ceremony
There are things we have to do to get you legally married.
The rest? That’s up to you.
Keep the traditions you love. Skip the ones you don’t. Write your own vows or absolutely do not write your own vows. Make people laugh. Make them cry. Keep it short. Bring your families into it. Elope with your dog as the only witness.*
The goal isn’t to create the “perfect wedding ceremony.” It’s to create yours.
*We’ll obviously make sure your state doesn’t actually require human witnesses before putting the dog in charge.
And about the dog…
I am fully in favor of dogs at weddings.
Dogs walking down the aisle. Dogs carrying rings they absolutely cannot be trusted with. Dogs in bow ties. Dogs in suits. Dogs in tiny tuxedos. Dogs who decide halfway through the ceremony that this day is actually about them.
If your dog is part of your family, I see absolutely no reason they shouldn’t be part of your wedding. Don’t have a dog? You can borrow mine.
I want to be the easiest decision you have to make.
Your officiant matters. You should like them. You should trust them. And you should feel good about putting them in front of all your favorite people with a microphone.
But choosing one shouldn’t be complicated. And once you’ve chosen me, this shouldn’t take up any more of your headspace.
I’ll ask the questions, keep track of the details, write the ceremony and show up ready to get you married.
You’ve got plenty of other things to plan. This one’s handled.
Meet Jen
I take the job seriously. Myself, considerably less so.
I got into this because someone I love asked me to marry them.
And somewhere between getting ordained, figuring out the legal stuff and writing a ceremony for two people I cared about, I realized I really liked doing it.
My favorite part is finding the thread.
It’s listening to the little things people tell me about each other. The stories. The inside jokes. The things they admire about each other and probably don’t say nearly enough.
Then I get to pull those pieces together and, for a few minutes, let everyone else see what the two of you see in each other.
That’s the part I love.
The credentials
Yes, I can actually marry you.
Because apparently this is an important qualification.
I’m an ordained minister through American Marriage Ministries and registered to perform marriages in Massachusetts.
I can also perform weddings throughout much of the Northeast. Some states are happy with my credentials as-is. Others make me do a little extra paperwork before the wedding.
That’s my problem. Not yours.
From people I’ve actually married
Crushed it. Exceeded all of my expectations. 10 out of 10.
Cait + Jeff
I’ve officiated weddings before, and I just want to say, I thought you did an amazing job. Just so well done.

“Where did you get the script for the ceremony?”
I wrote it.
“If I give you my email, would you mind sharing it with me? I really think my granddaughter would love something like that.”

Stories, useful things + a few thoughts.
Wedding stories, useful things and a few thoughts from my side of the ceremony.
Ready when you are
You’ve got the person.
You’ve got the date.
Let’s see if I’m free.
Tell me when and where you’re getting married, and we’ll go from there.
